NON-PRACTISING CONSULTANTS

  • Peredur joined Arnold Davies & Co, as it was then known, in 1980. It was self-evident that the firm was deeply rooted in the local agricultural community with the livestock market in its central location on what is now the site of Sainsbury’s. On market Tuesdays the office’s reception area would be replete with characters that would grace any painting by Aneurin Jones and , consequently, a wide range of the firm’s work, and that undertaken by Peredur, reflected the surrounding rural community.

Following the retirement of the late and influential David Lloyd Jones in 1997 Peredur was the sole remaining partner in the firm and it was , therefore, a logical decision to merge with the firm of Vincent Evans & Co established by the late and also influential Vincent Evans. Since then the firm has been known as ADVE ( Arnold Davies Vincent Evans ). It was pleasing to note the firm’s growth thereafter until Peredur’s retirement in 2015. Married to Delyth, his interests now are reading, travelling, cycling and walking amidst Ceredigion’s stunning landscape. It is his great pleasure to follow the careers of his children Rhys Maelgwyn and Rhian Lois and to spend time with his dear granddaughters Elsi Mair and Nansi Wyn.

OFFICE DOG

  • Eddie is our office dog. He is a loving (sometimes noisy) schnauzer and started working at the firm in March 2017. Eddie is always enthusiastic when arriving at the office and bounds around each room to greet all of his colleagues each morning before settling down for the day behind reception. He has his own bed on each floor of the office and dog treats in almost every desk! Eddie is always on the look out for extra fuss and will happily join your meeting if invited.
